Michigan Gaming Control Board released the first month's report card for 2026: Total online gaming revenue reached $356.3 million, up 7.6% year-over-year. The growth was mainly driven by the online casino (iGaming) sector, which saw its gross revenue jump 20.2% to $298.3 million; however, sports betting gross revenue fell 30.1% to $58 million, becoming the only drag. Simply put, more people are playing slots on their phones, while fewer are betting on sports. The total online sports betting amount for the month was $491.3 million, down 11.5% year-over-year.
