Swedish game content developer Random State (RS) recently announced that it has obtained a gaming-related supplier-manufacturer license from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). The new license, effective from May 14, 2025, grants RS the right to provide its games and technology platform services to licensed operators in Ontario.
RS focuses on developing next-generation iLottery games and multiplayer bingo content. The company's products feature strong interactivity, gamified mechanisms, and modern graphics, aimed at attracting a younger, more digital-savvy audience.
RS co-founder and COO Adam Fonsica stated: "Obtaining the Ontario license is an important step for us into the North American market. It not only validates the security and scalability of our technology but also allows us to officially launch in a mature and regulated market."
According to the official statement, RS plans to enter the Ontario market in the third quarter of 2025, with initial products including:
Interactive eInstants: Integrating video game gameplay with traditional lottery elements, offering players a fast-paced, high visual impact experience.
Multiplayer online bingo games: Supporting various ball variants (90, 75, 80/60/40, and 30 balls), equipped with a jackpot pool growth feature (Pot Booster) and real-time chat room hosting.
Full-suite turnkey iGaming platform: Includes a player account management system (PAM), certified random number generator (RNG), gamification engine, and a what-you-see-is-what-you-get content configuration tool.
Fonsica added that the company has already started discussions with several operators in Ontario and will announce the list of initial partners before the launch.
Ontario is currently the only Canadian province with an open market competition for online gaming, which has attracted numerous global content providers and operators since the market opened in 2022. Random State's entry signifies that the instant-win lottery and bingo game categories in Ontario will welcome more innovation and competition.
