Kaizen Gaming's Betano partners with Argentina's River Plate Athletic Club to become the front jersey sponsor of the players.

Kaizen Gaming has signed a partnership agreement with Club Atlético River Plate through its online sports betting and iGaming brand Betano.

This will make Betano the main jersey sponsor and the front jersey sponsor of the River Plate team, and the agreement will last for this season.

Julio Iglesias, Chief Culture Officer of Kaizen Gaming, said: "River Plate is a global football club with one of the largest fan bases in the world, with a history dating back over 120 years.

Kaizen Gaming hopes that the cooperation with the Argentine football club will further establish the Betano brand, which was launched in the jurisdiction about a year ago.

For River Plate, this cooperation represents the club's international expansion and diversification of revenue sources.

Jorge Brito, President of River Plate, said: "The cooperation with Kaizen Gaming and its brand Betano is an important milestone for us. Their operations in 19 international markets perfectly match our global vision."

By sponsoring the 2024 Copa Sudamericana™ and the Argentine Professional Football League "Torneo Betano", Kaizen Gaming has consolidated its leading position in the sports world. River Plate is also a leader in global sports marketing, with a passionate fan base, iconic stadiums, and a proud record of selling out tickets for more than 85 consecutive home games.

"We are proud to be one of the clubs with the most fans in the world. Through this cooperation, we will continue to develop and break new ground, and we are very excited to welcome Betano to the River Plate family."

Club Atlético River Plate, also known as Carp, was founded in 1901 and has more than 350,000 members, ranking among the top three sports clubs in terms of membership.

Stefano Di Carlo, Secretary General of River Plate, added: "This agreement is the result of our long-term strategy aimed at consolidating the club's position as a global leader, backed by the institutional strength of the club and more than 120 years of sporting achievements.

"The choice of an international brand like Betano as a partner fully demonstrates the strength of the River Plate brand globally, as well as the confidence inspired by our institution and sports programs."

Recently, Betano also partnered with MGA Games as part of its expansion into Portugal and Belgium.
