Cambodian media reported today that around 4:15 PM yesterday, a casino building in Badi caught fire, stating that hundreds of Vietnamese gamblers fled the building, crossed the Badi port, and returned to Vietnam, also mentioning that this casino building was a network casino (park).
Vietnamese media reported that the Vietnamese embassy has intervened, preparing to rescue the other 67 Vietnamese still trapped in the telecom fraud park.
This is not the first time Vietnamese "dog pushers" have collectively resisted the telecom fraud park. On August 18, 2022, about 60 Vietnamese people broke out from the Fortune Pacific Park, swam across the river, and returned to Vietnam. The Pacific Park, suspected of human trafficking and online fraud, was also sanctioned by the British government last December.
Looking at what netizens say, there are three big lies in Cambodia: there is no fraud in Cambodia (no fraud in Sihanoukville); those who call the police are falsely reporting, just not used to the park's food; those who come to Cambodia for fraud do so voluntarily.

Now, the telecom fraud company bosses in Badi and Poipet, who are developing greatly, probably will still focus on "Chinese operations," feeling that "Chinese scamming Chinese" is most profitable and trouble-free, unlike the Pacific Park that was sanctioned.
