Florida residents will soon be able to order lottery tickets online under a new agreement with lottery delivery service theLotter.
theLotter Group was founded in 2002 and has provided services over the years in several states including Texas, Minnesota, and Oregon.
Recently, the company has expanded its operations into New Jersey (where it is an official lottery courier service) and New York, where it is licensed by the New York Gaming Commission.
Yael Hertz, CEO of theLotter Group, said of the company’s launch in Florida: “We are excited to bring our services to Florida.
Our launch in the Sunshine State marks a major milestone for theLotter and we are very proud to offer a convenient platform for ordering lottery tickets online. This brings a whole new level of convenience to customers in the region. "
To use the service, customers need to create an account, confirm they are physically located in the state and verify their age and identity. After setting up an account, users can add a payment method, select a lottery game, pick numbers and confirm their order.
TheLotter processes lottery ticket orders from licensed Florida lottery retailers. The tickets are scanned into the customer's personal account, where they can view the tickets before the draw.
If a customer wins, they will be notified and prizes less than $600 will be deposited directly into the user’s account.”
