Room reservations will start on April 15 through the casino's official website. An outdoor festival and live concert will be held on the opening day.

The new hotel is expected to create about 100 jobs in the Columbus area, mainly in hotel operations and customer service. The casino will host two job fairs on March 27 and April 10. Additionally, the casino plans to add a larger high-stakes table gaming area in the second half of 2026, pending regulatory approval. This is part of Penn Entertainment's nationwide investment, which last year included the construction of a new land-based casino in Joliet, Illinois, and the completion of the second hotel tower at the M Resort in Las Vegas. Plans for the second quarter of this year include opening the Hollywood Casino Aurora in Illinois, and the Council Bluffs project in Iowa is expected to open by the end of 2027 or early 2028.
