ComeOn Group and Evoke have reached a cooperation and announced the plan details to bring the 888 brand back to the Dutch market, after the brand had left the Dutch market for four years.
Evoke, which owns William Hill, Mr Green, and 888, has chosen to collaborate with ComeOn Group, which will operate 888.nl using its proprietary casino and sports betting platform.
This collaboration means that Dutch players will be able to access slot machines, exclusive games, sports betting odds, and various live casino tables, all branded with the 888 logo.
Juergen Reutter, CEO of ComeOn Group, expressed his pride in being entrusted with managing the familiar 888 brand while celebrating this news.
He stated, "We are honored to be entrusted with operating 888, one of the most iconic consumer brands in the gaming industry."
ComeOn Group, primarily headquartered in Malta, was originally established in Sweden and has offices throughout Europe.
Recently, ComeOn Group has made significant inroads into the Danish market and announced a sponsorship agreement with three Danish football clubs in July.
Speaking about the latest agreement with the operator, Evoke's Director of Corporate Development said, "We are excited to introduce 888 to our Dutch customers and to further expand into regulated markets through high-impact, low-capital partnership alignments that are strategic with Evoke."
It remains to be seen when the newly licensed operator will officially commence operations.
