The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) issued an urgent notice on June 29, sternly condemning a group of illegal online gambling platforms that forge licenses and impersonate official operations. These platforms have not obtained any legal authorization but still brazenly use the PAGCOR logo to deceive users, seriously misleading them and threatening social safety.

The named sites include efesbetcasino514.com, OG7777 (og7777.org), Mpo500.com, mpo2121.com, QQ88.com, napolibet.com, lgolive.com, kratosbet.com, mpossport.com, and cazeus2.com from the UK, among others. Some platforms even forge "licenses" to display, attempting to create a false impression of legality.

Alejandro Tengco, the chairman of PAGCOR, stated that these platforms have no connection with the legal gambling system in the Philippines. Once the public is deceived, not only is their property damaged, but they may also be involved in money laundering and fraud. He emphasized: "Starting from the end of 2024, the Philippines has completely banned POGO, and any operator claiming to still hold an offshore gambling license is engaging in illegal activities."

To prevent the resurgence of illegal gambling, PAGCOR urges the public to verify the background of gambling platforms and avoid clicking on websites from unknown sources. If suspicious platforms are discovered, it is recommended to report them to the relevant departments immediately to prevent becoming a target of crime.
