The Web3 hero shooter game "BloodLoop," developed by Swiss game studio Ragnarok Games, has now landed on the PC platform and is exclusively released through the Epic Games Store in an early access version, also launching a game airdrop tournament with a total prize pool of $15,000 to attract players to participate in its brand-new virtual battlefield.
As a free 5v5 hero shooter game, "BloodLoop" places players in a futuristic arena where three opposing factions fiercely compete in virtual space. The game combines fast-paced shooting gameplay with Web3 elements, bringing players an immersive esports experience.
The game kicks off with a quarterly leaderboard tournament, requiring players to pay an entry fee of $9.99 (using the native token $BLS) to participate. The initial prize pool is $15,000, and Ragnarok Games states that if the number of participants reaches 15,000, the total prize money could rise to $130,000. 75% of the ticket revenue will be directly injected into the prize pool, and the top 20% of players will receive corresponding rewards based on the real-time matchmaking rating system (MMR).
In terms of game modes, "BloodLoop" offers three options: Team Deathmatch emphasizes squad combat and kills; Energy Battle requires teams to control and defend key nodes; and Brawl mode provides a larger stage for individual skills, with five unique heroes appearing in each match.
It is worth mentioning that the game adopts an "optional" attitude towards blockchain integration, not forcing players to engage with Web3 technology, but providing digital ownership support for interested users. Players can create exclusive accessories with rare resources or craft collectibles supported by the Avalanche blockchain, such as Artist Print hero skins.
Furthermore, Ragnarok Games also plans to introduce bounty missions, a dynamic reward system, and subsequent season content to ensure that "BloodLoop" remains active in its first month after the official launch and gradually builds a deep and sustainable esports ecosystem. This move indicates that the development team is committed to finding a balance between Web3 and traditional gaming, meeting the expectations and needs of different players.
