Game content provider Octoplay has announced a partnership with BetMGM, officially introducing its gaming products to the New Jersey market in the United States. This marks Octoplay's first content launch in the US, signifying a key breakthrough in its North American expansion strategy.
This collaboration continues the success the two parties experienced in Ontario, Canada. At that time, Octoplay created the exclusive Jackpot Blitz cumulative bonus system for BetMGM, and now this cooperation has expanded further into the US. New Jersey thus becomes the first state in North America where Octoplay has established a presence.
Octoplay holds multiple European market licenses, including in the UK, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Malta, and has also obtained temporary permits in Michigan and New Jersey, USA. This partnership with BetMGM is seen as an important component of its global expansion plan for 2025.
Octoplay's Business Development Director, Ralitsa Georgieva, stated: "The launch in New Jersey is our first major milestone in entering the US market. BetMGM is an ideal partner, and we look forward to achieving greater breakthroughs in the North American market." Oliver Bartlett, Vice President of Gaming at BetMGM, also noted that Octoplay's game content has performed well in other markets and is expected to achieve positive results in the US as well.
Currently, Octoplay is rapidly expanding, averaging five new operators per month, and has established partnerships with over 80 operators worldwide, forming a dual development model of "deep cultivation in Europe and expansion in North America."
In May 2025, Octoplay reached a partnership with the Danish state-owned operator Danske Spil; it had also previously entered the Swedish market with Svenska Spel and the Dutch market with Jacks.nl, and continues to steadily expand in the UK and Dutch markets through agreements with Rank Group and JOI Gaming.
The launch in New Jersey is an important starting point in Octoplay's strategy of "consolidating in Europe and laying out in America." As more state licenses are granted in the future, the company plans to further expand its North American business footprint and accelerate its global growth pace.
