Sportradar announced a partnership with streaming platform Dazn to jointly create the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, which will be held in the United States in 2025. As part of the agreement, Dazn will be responsible for broadcasting the event, while Sportradar will provide exclusive data support, innovative betting markets, and fan-oriented interactive solutions.
The event is scheduled to take place from June 14 to July 13, 2025, and will be the first expanded Club World Cup with 32 top global clubs participating. Sportradar will leverage its technological advantages to provide comprehensive data services to over 800 global operators and media partners, including real-time odds, ultra-low latency data, and detailed tracking information.
In addition, Sportradar will build a diverse betting market, including micro-betting, player-specific betting, pre-match and in-play markets, greatly enhancing the flexibility and depth of operator products. Through a long-established cooperation framework with FIFA, Sportradar will also continue to deploy its Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS) to ensure the fairness and transparency of the event.
In terms of market strategy, Sportradar will focus on the content needs of local users in the United States, providing real-time, localized data services to strengthen the viewing and participation experience of local fans.
Moritz Gloeckler, Executive Vice President of Rights and Strategic Projects at Sportradar, said: "This cooperation with Dazn is an important milestone in our efforts to drive the digital transformation of global football events. We aim not only to expand the impact of the event but also to establish deeper connections with fans through real-time content. At the same time, ensuring the integrity of the competition remains our core commitment."
As the event approaches, Rainer Lichtmannegger, Senior Vice President of Sports Content Products at Sportradar, will also soon discuss with the media the profound implications of this cooperation for sports betting operators.
