The results show that in 2024, the download volume of cryptocurrency applications in the UAE increased by 41% year-on-year, reaching a total of 15 million downloads.
In the fourth quarter of 2024, the monthly download volume exceeded 1 million, peaking in December with 2.8 million downloads.
In January 2025, the download volume of cryptocurrency applications in the UAE reached 3.5 million, accounting for more than half of the total downloads in 2023.
AppsFlyer's Marketing Director Shani Rosenfelder stated: "During his presidential campaign, Trump emphasized his supportive stance on cryptocurrencies. After his election, the prices of cryptocurrencies began to soar. These fluctuations transmitted to the UAE's cryptocurrency market, thus giving cryptocurrency companies an opportunity to rapidly expand their user base."
In 2024, marketing campaigns brought 60% of the traffic to cryptocurrency applications. However, on Android devices, one-fifth of the applications were uninstalled within 30 days.
