A bloody robbery recently occurred in Dasmariñas City, Cavite, Philippines, where a couple dealing in used cars were shot during a vehicle purchase. The husband died on the spot, while the wife was seriously injured.

According to preliminary investigations by the police, on the day of the incident, the couple met with a man claiming to be an intermediary to buy a van.

The 46-year-old husband was shot multiple times in the head, neck, and body and died instantly; the wife was shot in the shoulder and back and was urgently taken to the hospital for treatment, where her condition is now stable.
The case is suspected to have been triggered by robbery. After the attack, the suspect stole six mobile phones and a handbag containing about 500,000 pesos in cash from the couple. The police later recovered two mobile phones in a nearby river, but the stolen cash is still missing.
