A shocking incident occurred early this morning (November 20) at a furniture store in Pathum Thani Province, where an attacker armed with two guns opened fire on eight young individuals.
The scene of the shooting was chaotic, with bullet casings scattered everywhere, shattered glass, and significant damage. Around 3:30 AM, police were alerted by the sound of vehicles circling the area.
Under the leadership of Manop Suwanmanee, the police quickly conducted a thorough investigation of the shooting at the store located next to Petchkasem parallel road in Thaminram district of Pathum Thani Province.
Upon arrival, officers found several lead pellets, 10 shells from a 12-gauge shotgun, and a .45 caliber bullet. The scene was heavily damaged, with gunshot marks on the second-floor windows.
Preliminary investigations revealed that at the time of the incident, there were eight male teenagers under 18 years old in the store owner's second-floor bedroom, who were friends of the store owner's son and were staying overnight at the store.
According to these young individuals, before the shooting occurred, they heard several unregistered and unidentified cars and motorcycles passing by the store multiple times.
"We heard gunshots outside, followed shortly by the sound of motorcycles circling. Then, more gunshots were heard."
About three hours later, the situation escalated further with more gunshots heard, accompanied by the sound of breaking glass.
After the noise subsided, the young individuals went downstairs and discovered the store had been shot at. According to KhaoSod, they immediately called the police.
After preliminary investigations, the police took two teenagers to the station for further questioning. The police suspect that the attack might have been carried out by a group of hostile teenagers targeting the youths inside the store.
Efforts are currently underway to identify and locate the suspects involved in the shooting and to formally press charges.
