A relative of one of the kidnapped victims told reporters that they safely received the hostage this afternoon in Shangding.
This relative stated, "It's good that the person has returned safely; this matter should now come to an end, and those who escaped will not be pursued."
A severe shooting and kidnapping incident occurred on the evening of August 27 in Phnom Penh, causing widespread concern in the Chinese community. Subsequently, police arrested a total of three suspects on August 28 in Bavet and on September 3 in Phnom Penh.

The suspect arrested later was captured in Phnom Penh, nicknamed "Anan," and served as the driver during the kidnapping.
