The Global Gaming Awards will return to Las Vegas this October for its 11th annual ceremony and we’re delighted to share that the shortlist has now been confirmed.
We will be contacting all shortlisted companies in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out for an email from the Global Gaming Awards event team.
“After celebrating the landmark 10th Global Gaming Awards in Las Vegas last year, we are already looking forward to this year’s event,” said Mariya Savova, Global Gaming Awards event manager.
“The games industry in the Americas is growing rapidly, especially in the US, so the competition was very fierce this year. We received hundreds of nominations and I can honestly say that they all deserved to be on the shortlist.
Unfortunately, we can only shortlist 10 companies per category, so if you are one of them, congratulations, it’s a great achievement,” she added.
The Global Game Awards is the industry's most prestigious award and the only award in the industry that publicly announces the reasons why each company and individual is nominated.
The shortlist was determined after a careful review of nominations submitted by the companies. We also sought advice from a number of industry experts and consultants.
Companies are always nominated based on their performance in the Americas region over the past 12-18 months and their strength. Entities with multiple brands may only have one brand shortlisted in a particular category.
Additionally, the Global Gaming Awards follows a rigorous voting process where more than 100 senior industry executives from both the physical and online gaming industries across the Americas select the winners.
Only one executive from each company will be allowed to sit on the judging panel, and KPMG in the Crown Dependency will independently adjudicate the voting process to ensure judges are not excluded from voting in a category with which they have a conflict.
The full list of 2024 Global Gaming Awards Americas finalists will be announced to the public in September, and the winners will be announced at a luncheon ceremony at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas on October 7, 2024. The event will be live-streamed for those unable to attend.
KPMG, a British Crown Dependency, acted as the official adjudicator of the vote. BetConstruct is the main partner of this year’s event, with category sponsors including Aristocrat Gaming, SPRIBE, Interblock Gaming, Soft2Bet, Light & Wonder, Play’n GO, NOVOMATIC and Playtech.
The Global Gaming Awards Americas honors the top performers in the supplier and operator verticals in the Americas region. There are also two Global Gaming Awards events each year, one for the EMEA region and one for the APAC region.
