Spain.- Casino Cirsa Valencia kicked off the third season of the Sixers poker tournament. With an expanded calendar that includes seven events, the season started with the Niners event.
The organization moved the start date to January 28 and extended the tournament to a new stop at Casino Cirsa Tangier, in Morocco. The schedule includes the Niners, High Roller, Main Event, Total KO Progressive, Second Chance, Omaha, and Closer tournaments.
The series began with the Niners event, which this year had a buy-in of EUR200, and will feature an additional EUR2,000 from Sportium. The highlights are the High Roller and Main Event, which features a guaranteed prize of EUR150,000. Additionally, the Total KO Progressive, introduced last year, returns to offer a dynamic where all pool prizes are allocated to the bounty format.
The calendar is completed with the Second Chance, the Omaha tournament, and the Closer, which will be played over the weekend. Moreover, players can participate in three satellite events for the Main Event, each with an entry fee of EUR125.
In December, the Casino Gran Vía de Madrid was the venue for the final of the Sportium Sixers Poker Series 2024. The tournament was inaugurated at Casino Marbella in April and ended in the Spanish capital, featuring four stages of play in different Spanish casinos. The event also passed through the cities of Valencia and Barcelona.
Meanwhile, from February 3 to 9, the European Poker Festival will take place at the Casino de Barcelona, with a program that will include a total of 14 events and satellites. The Poker Room at Casino Barcelona continues its activity and is gearing up to host the Deepstack Open Barcelona (DSO), which will take place during those dates and will feature a series of high-level competitions.
This tournament, which in its last edition surpassed 300 participants, will be played again with a buy-in of €550 and four days of competition.
