The 8th Global Gaming Awards ceremony will be relocated to Barcelona on January 20th, aimed at recognizing successful suppliers and operators in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa over the past 12 months. Previously, the ceremony was successfully held in London for seven years.
The Global Gaming Awards are the most prestigious in the industry, as each company and individual nominee has their reasons, and the winners are selected by a distinguished jury composed of senior industry executives with years of experience and professional market knowledge.
The Executive of the Year Award is the only award that recognizes an individual rather than a company and is the only one with 25 nominees.
"Congratulations to this year's outstanding executives. I am honored to see the excellent work you do year after year to drive company growth and innovation in the entire gaming industry," said Mariya Savova, event manager of the Global Gaming Awards.
The winners of all 16 categories will be announced at an invitation-only event held at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via on Monday, January 20, 2025.
The Executive of the Year Award is sponsored by Interblock Gaming, a leading developer and supplier of luxury electronic table gaming products.
The complete list of nominees for all 16 categories will be announced in the coming days.
The Global Gaming Awards are hosted by Gambling Insider and Gaming America, with the Royal Territory KPMG serving as the official voting adjudicator. BetConstruct is the main partner of the event, and category sponsors include Interblock Gaming, SPRIBE, Z-Gaming, GammaStack, Bragg Gaming, EGT, EveryMatrix, 1xBet, Soft2Bet, BGaming, Imagine Live, Galaxsys, SOFTSWISS, Aristocrat Gaming, and GR8 Tech.
Following the Global Gaming Awards ceremony for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa held in Barcelona on January 20th, Gambling Insider will host the Asia-Pacific awards ceremony in Manila on June 3rd and the flagship Global Gaming Awards Americas ceremony on October 6th.
