FanDuel announces a new partnership with the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL).
As the official sports betting partner and exclusive in-app streaming partner in the US, this partnership provides better access for hockey fans, allowing them to watch and bet on PWHL games through a single platform.
Through this partnership, FanDuel will stream up to 90 PWHL regular season and playoff games on its app, enabling fans to conveniently watch and place bets on one platform.
Dale Hooper, General Manager of FanDuel Canada, commented on the new agreement: "FanDuel is proud to partner with PWHL to support the league's outstanding athletes. This partnership aims to usher in a new era of fan engagement—bringing hockey closer to fans while also helping to raise the profile of women's professional sports."
Worth noting: Betting options include player bets, novelty markets, and same-game betting.
FanDuel also emphasizes that responsible gaming is an important part of the partnership, offering fans a range of tools to manage their betting activities, including deposit and betting limits.
This partnership is the latest in a series of sports collaborations for FanDuel, which last month also reached an agreement with the European Basketball League.
As part of this European Basketball League partnership, one game per round of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season will be exclusively broadcast in the US through FanDuel TV Extra and FanDuel TV+ (FanDuel's free OTT platform).
