Inspector Chaiwat Purintraphiban of the Suan Phueng Police Station received an alert and discovered two deceased individuals on a dirt road leading to the village of Suan Phueng Pong Song Ko in Ratchaburi Province.

The police described it as a shocking double homicide by shooting in the Suan Phueng district, where two men were found dead from gunshot wounds. After receiving the report early this morning, the police are now fully engaged in the investigation, meticulously examining surveillance footage to identify the perpetrator.

This information was promptly communicated to senior officials, including Provincial Police Commander Wachirapong Amornapitak, Suan Phueng Police Station Chief Amnuay Denweha, Deputy Director of Investigation Anothai Saikasin, and Deputy Director of Operations Pongsak Thongluea.

Upon arrival at the scene, the police, accompanied by a forensic expert, an on-duty doctor from Suan Phueng Hospital, and volunteers from the Prachanukul Ratchaburi Foundation, encountered a heartbreaking sight.

The first victim was identified as Aung San, a 43-year-old Myanmar national employed in Longzai Cuo Province.

He had gunshot wounds to his abdomen and head, and his right hand was visibly injured. Nearby, a 9mm cartridge case, a mobile phone, and some cash were found. His documents included a foreign identity card and a driving license.

About 300 meters away, the body of Saw Saw, also from Myanmar, was found in the roadside bushes. He had a gunshot wound to the back of his head, surrounded by a large amount of blood.

A pair of sandals, presumed to belong to the deceased, were scattered in the opposite direction. Village assistant Narumon Kaewjamsri noted that two more 9mm cartridge cases were found as evidence.

"This road is a dead end for cars, only accessible further by motorcycle. The perpetrator likely had enough knowledge of the area to commit such an act. The deceased were not well-known in Suan Phueng and might not have been locals.

Preliminary investigations revealed that relatives contacted the deceased's mobile phones to trace their last movements. The two men and four friends left their home in Longzai Cuo Province around 8:30 PM in two vehicles.

Village security cameras captured their journey until they could no longer be contacted. According to KhaoSod, the police eventually answered the call, informing the relatives of the tragic event and requesting their presence for further questioning.

Based on these leads, Amnuay has instructed the investigation team to meticulously trace all routes through CCTV footage. The police hope this technology will quickly yield vital information about the attackers.
