The most important race of the year took place last Saturday, November 9, and the Foundation was once again chosen as the charity entity.
Argentina.- The Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo was the venue for the Gran Premio Nacional last Saturday, November 9. It is the most important race in the local equestrian calendar and the last link of the Triple Crown and the penultimate of the Quadruple Crown, which is completed with the Gran Premio Carlos Pellegrini.
Established in 1884 under the government of then President Julio Argentino Roca, it is the oldest competition in national horse racing. Its name is due to the fact that its first contest had a cash prize donated by the Superior Government of the Nation.
In the context of this celebration, the Hipódromo de Palermo once again called on the Fernández Foundation as a charity entity supported by sponsors such as Laboratorio Bagó, among others, who joined in a benefit activity.

In this context, in the Salón Turf Argentino, on the 3rd floor of the Tribuna Paddock, guests enjoyed a charity lunch. And the total amount raised will be allocated to continue with the renovation and equipment of the hospital's operating rooms.
It is worth remembering that for 28 years the Fernández Foundation has supported the Dr. Juan A. Fernández Hospital, a national health care and attention reference, donating state-of-the-art equipment and collaborating with new services and facilities.
At the end, various members of the entity's board of directors presented the cups of the races that bore the names of the sponsoring companies.
"Thanks to the Hipódromo de Palermo and the sponsors who accompany us. We continue working and generating resources for the remodeling of the Fernández Hospital operating rooms. We feel a passion for helping," highlighted by the Foundation.
