Abelson Info is offering more sportsbooks access to betting markets for the SailGP world championship ahead of its 2025 season.
The partnership with the sailing competition will see SailGP produce proprietary algorithms, built off its live race data, in order to provide market opportunities.
There will be betting opportunities throughout every race, overing 270,000 data points every second.
SailGP had rolled out its betting capabilities to several bookmakers in the final two events of Season 4, but the partnership with Abelson will expand their reach to global operators.
Abelson Info chief operating officer, Simon Temple, said: “SailGP’s one-design format – whereby all teams race in identical F50 catamarans – along with readily-available streams will lend themselves well to the sportsbooks of the future, as the league grows in popularity.
“We’re excited to be partnering with SailGP as they further strengthen their position in the sporting calendar.”
SailGP’s managing director, Andrew Thompson, said: “After the successful introduction of SailGP to several sportsbooks earlier this year - including at our New York event and Season 4 Grand Final in San Francisco - we are pleased to partner with Abelson to maximise distribution and provide an immediate technical route to sports betting operators worldwide.

The partnership will begin in the “coming weeks,” with the new SailGP season kicking off in Dubai between November 23-24.
