The Undersecretary of Tourism of Viedma, Sergio Rodríguez, discussed the municipality's expectations for the new venture.
Argentina.- With the imminent inauguration of the Casino del Río and the Sol del Río Complex in the city of Viedma, Río Negro, the Undersecretary of Tourism of Viedma, Sergio Rodríguez, spoke about the municipality's expectations for this new opening. The new venture will open its doors on October 31.
In an interview with the local media VDM Noticias, Rodríguez talked about the inauguration of the complex. He said: "We have high expectations because this represents a very important qualitative leap for Viedma. Not all cities have five-star hotels; they are usually found in cities with a large tourist influx, and this puts us on another level."
The company Crown Casinos announced that on Thursday, October 31, there will be an inaugural event for exclusive members at the new complex. From November 1, the doors will be open to the public.
The site includes a casino, a hotel, a convention center, business rooms, a gastronomic promenade, and the refurbishment of the facilities of the Club Sol de Mayo, which provided a site for the construction of the complex.

One of the challenges posed by the opening of the complex is the demand for qualified personnel. Rodríguez said, "Qualified personnel are not abundant, you have to look carefully. We are open to collaborate, also with recommendations from known people."
Rodríguez emphasized that the success of the ventures has a direct impact on the citizens. "We are interested in all the ventures being successful, because that translates into benefits for the entire community," he expressed.
