Palmeiras resumed the display of Lucky Sports, which on Wednesday was listed among the betting houses authorized to operate throughout Brazilian territory. The release at the Ministry of Finance occurred by judicial determination. The Brazilian Football Confederation had already allowed the brand to be advertised.
Over the last few days, the federal government's decision to ban the operation of some betting houses in Brazil has taken effect. Among them, Lucky Sports.
The company had managed to obtain a restricted authorization for the state of Rio de Janeiro, through a license from Loterj, a government agency in Rio that manages state lotteries, but Palmeiras initially withdrew the displays to wait for greater legal security in the case.
Until this week, when it received arguments from the company itself and the Brazilian Football Confederation about the authorization to advertise the brand.
Given the arguments and the inclusion in the list, it resumed the display. It is complying with legal determinations, therefore, that is what the club understands.
The company entered as the main sponsor of women's football, with activations also in the home games of the men's team through LED panels and backdrops, as well as actions on social networks and on the club's website.
