Argentina.- Senator Eduardo "Wado" de Pedro presented a bill to regulate betting houses and online gambling, aimed at preventing the development or intensification of addictions related to betting.
On his X (formerly Twitter) account, the legislator highlighted: "Cyber gambling addiction is a problem that increasingly affects young people. In Argentina, 4 out of 10 have gambled or have gambled at some point. That's why I presented a bill to regulate the activity of online betting houses and protect children and adolescents."

He also pointed out that: "We are facing a phenomenon that seriously affects the mental health of our children, destroys families, and causes irreparable damage. We must address it urgently, to take care of the thousands of Argentinians who suffer the consequences day by day."
