According to his legal advisor Stephen David, Wesley Guo, who is said to be the brother of the dismissed mayor of Banban, Tarlac, Alice Guo, wants to surrender to the authorities.
"He wants to surrender," David told reporters during a surprise interview.
David mentioned that after speaking with the dismissed mayor, Wesley hinted at this news.
When asked if they had coordinated with the authorities about Wesley's surrender, David said, "I can't reveal any information, but we are working on it."
While Wesley expressed his willingness to surrender, David stated that he does not know Wesley's whereabouts.
"I don't know... Even if you ask him, he won't answer."
Earlier, the authorities stated that Wesley was one of the individuals the Senate had ordered to be arrested, who had attempted to fly to Hong Kong in the last week of August.
Earlier on Wednesday (September 4), Philippine immigration officials said that Indonesian authorities have been looking for Wesley.
"They promise that this matter will be resolved soon and will send back Mayor Alice Guo, including her brother Wesley, who are also under surveillance. They hope to send him back to the Philippines as soon as possible," Sandoval said in an interview with Unang Balita.

According to Alice Guo and Wesley's supposed sister Shiela, the three of them left the Philippines by boat three times, heading to Malaysia. Afterwards, they flew to Singapore and then took a ferry to Batam Island, Indonesia.
Shiela said she separated from Wesley and Alice Guo on Batam Island, Indonesia, and she and Cassandra Li Ong were arrested.
Ong is Wesley's girlfriend and the authorized representative of the raided Pogo center "Lucky South 99," located in Porac, Pampanga, Philippines.
