Invincible GG has partnered with QIPCO British Champions Series to launch a new mobile horse racing game called “Owners Club”.
This game is available for free download on the App Store and Google Play, where players can virtually own, train, and race AI-powered horses. The initiative is part of a broader effort to increase participation in horse racing, especially among younger audiences who are more inclined to engage with digital platforms.
The game is associated with the QIPCO British Champions Day Challenge, a race event scheduled before the QIPCO British Champions Day on October 19, 2024. The competition invites participants from the UK and around the world to race their virtual horses, with the top prize being an experience at the Royal Ascot Racing Club.
The game aims to attract both existing horse racing enthusiasts and newcomers to the sport, offering a new way to engage with horse racing through mobile gaming.
Jonathan Strause, CEO of Invincible GG, stated, “The interactive video game industry has proven to be a powerful platform for attracting young people. Horse racing, with its long history and thrilling nature, has the potential to attract a similar audience.”
Rod Street, CEO of the British Champions Series, added, “We believe the image of the QIPCO British Champions Series and Champions Day will appeal to everyone, especially with the opportunity to train and race your own AI-powered horses in five virtual Champions Day races in October. We will be promoting this initiative extensively over the coming weeks, particularly through Club 26, which currently has over 10,000 members.”
In the Owners Club game, players can acquire, train, and race AI-driven horses. These horses appear in the game as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) with unique characteristics that affect their performance in virtual races. The game also includes player versus player competitions.
Similar initiatives have appeared in other sports, such as EA Sports’ FIFA and Codemasters’ F1 games, aimed at reigniting interest among the younger generation in football and racing sports.
In September 2023, Invincible GG launched the Owner's Club website and NFT storefront, where players can purchase and race AI-driven horses.
