This is an initiative of the Provincial Institute of Gambling of Jujuy (Inprojuy).
Argentina.- The Provincial Institute of Gambling of Jujuy (Inprojuy) has made available to all operators, concessionaires, and gambling agencies the "Code of Commitment to Good Practices and Care in Responsible Gambling in Advertising," a document that establishes the guidelines to be followed in all publications and/or promotions related to gambling within the northern Argentine province.
As explained by the provincial government, the purpose of the Code of Commitment is to ensure that each communication is "transparent, ethical, and socially responsible", ensuring that any advertising or promotional message adheres to "principles that protect both the individuals who gamble and the community at large."
Among its main points, the code highlights the importance of clear communication, aimed exclusively at individuals over 18 years of age. Additionally, it establishes that all advertising must avoid encouraging excessive gambling and/or presenting gambling as a solution to financial problems and avoid conveying misleading messages about the chances of winning. In this way, it seeks to prevent risky behaviors and protect more vulnerable sectors.

The document also offers tools such as the voluntary self-exclusion system that allows players to limit or control their participation in gambling confidentially.
"This reinforces Inprojuy's commitment to social responsibility and the well-being of the community, promoting a safe gambling environment," stated the regulatory body of gambling in Jujuy.
And they added: "The implementation of this Code reaffirms Inprojuy's work to ensure the integrity and protection of the people who gamble as priorities and constitutes an invitation to operators, concessionaires, and promoters to adhere to these principles, actively contributing to the development of a gambling industry with good practices."
