Banijay Group CEO François Riahi emphasized that the company will not sell its content business division, despite significant growth in the gaming sector. In the first nine months before 2025, the group's total revenue reached 3.22 billion euros, a year-on-year increase of 3.2%, of which gaming revenue increased by 8.7%, and the content business maintained a stable contribution. Riahi denied rumors of abandoning the media business during the financial report conference call, pointing out that the content industry still has growth potential.

Business Strategy Positioning of Banijay
Against the backdrop of rapid expansion in the gaming business, Banijay Group reaffirms its commitment to the content division. Riahi stated that acquisitions such as Tipico are part of the gaming strategy, but the content business has positive opportunities and there are no plans to sell. The company's content division operates independently, covering areas such as TV and film, including branches like Banijay Media Germany.
Gaming Business Drives Revenue Growth
In the first nine months before 2025, Banijay Gaming's revenue grew by 8.7% to 1.13 billion euros, with the number of active players increasing by 23% year-on-year. Sports betting revenue reached 857 million euros, up 5.3%; online casino revenue increased by 16.4% to 179.1 million euros. Poker revenue grew by 32.7% to 76.2 million euros, and other gaming businesses also achieved growth.
Group Financial Performance Overview
The group's adjusted EBITDA increased by 9.3% to 597.1 million euros, operating profit grew by 38.6% to 381.1 million euros. Pre-tax profit soared by 76.4% to 189 million euros, net profit was 128.9 million euros, up 132.2% year-on-year. Adjusted net profit was 271.2 million euros, an increase of about 9.3%, with external expenses growing by 2.2%.
Future Acquisition and Integration Plans
Banijay plans to complete the acquisition of a majority stake in Tipico by mid-2026, holding 65% of the shares, and will merge it with the Betclic brand. Previously, Betclic had integrated with the group, renamed as Banijay Group after the establishment of FL Entertainment, with subsidiary Banijay Gaming responsible for online gambling operations.
