Recently, the police in Chonburi Province, Thailand, successfully cracked down on a warehouse hiding electronic gambling devices, arresting several suspects from China and Thailand, and seized 49 slot machines and related electronic equipment. The police initially judged that the gang might be related to overseas fraud groups, intending to establish an illegal stronghold in Thailand.

Raid Process
The operation was personally directed by the chief of the Soi Dao Police Station in Chonburi Province and took place on the evening of November 8, targeting a commercial building in the area. Based on a tip-off, the police found several Chinese men directing the movement of gambling machines upon arrival, and the scene was quickly controlled.
Seized Items and Suspects
The police seized a total of 49 slot machines, 2 signal machines, and several sets of network equipment. All involved personnel have been taken back for investigation, and it is preliminarily judged that they might have sneaked in from neighboring countries, attempting to establish gambling or fraud bases.
Case Background and Further Investigation
The police emphasized that the cracking of this case was thanks to public reporting, which prevented the risk of online gambling that could have arisen had the equipment been put into operation. Currently, the physical evidence and suspects have been handed over to the investigative department, and the case will further probe into the financial chain and the connection with cross-border gangs.
