The popular NFT project Pudgy Penguins announced that its first Web3 mobile game "Pudgy Party" will officially launch in August 2025, supporting iOS and Android systems. The game is co-developed by Pudgy Penguins and the blockchain gaming technology company Mythical Games, which previously created the hit blockchain game "NFL Rivals".
Pudgy Penguins is an Ethereum NFT series launched in 2021, with a limited release of 8,888 adorable penguin avatars, followed by 22,222 Lil Pudgy derivative works, which are very popular among collectors. The game plan was announced as early as May 2024, and the official scheduling has attracted significant market attention.
"Pudgy Party" is based on the Mythos Chain blockchain developed by Mythical Games (based on Polkadot technology), and will integrate party gameplay styles of "Mario Party" and "Fall Guys", emphasizing multiplayer interaction and light competitive experience. Although the official has not yet released detailed mechanisms, the game is expected to include a "play-to-earn" mode, personalized penguin character customization features, and support for digital asset transactions.
It is worth mentioning that Mythical Games' previously developed "NFL Rivals" has exceeded 6 million downloads, possessing mature blockchain game development and commercialization experience.
