Macau's gambling industry welcomes a new addition! The electronic Sic Bo game "Mori Dice," developed by gaming technology company LT Game Ltd, is set to be officially deployed at the venerable Grand Lisboa casino. According to Peck Chen, LT Game's Director of Sales and Marketing, Grand Lisboa will feature three LTS-2 upright models, expected to quickly attract player attention.
"Mori Dice" combines traditional Sic Bo gameplay with slot machine elements. Since its debut in Macau last year, it has successfully entered popular venues such as the Kam Pek Casino, Galaxy Macau, and StarWorld Hotel, quickly becoming a popular item in the electronic gaming area. Its installation at Grand Lisboa marks a further penetration into mainstream casino strongholds.
LT Game is also actively expanding into overseas markets, particularly in Southeast Asian countries like the Philippines and Malaysia, aiming to make "Mori Dice" a regional hit. Another flagship product, "Super Bull," has also been launched at multiple venues in Galaxy, leveraging the popular Asian card game "Bullfight" to offer high interaction and fast-paced gameplay.
It is noteworthy that Kam Pek Casino, as a casino under LT Game's parent company Paradise Entertainment Ltd, still operates under an SJM Holdings license. However, according to new Macau gambling regulations, unincorporated "satellite casinos" must close by the end of the year, leaving the fate of Kam Pek Casino uncertain.
The deployment of "Mori Dice" at Grand Lisboa not only symbolizes a deepening cooperation between LT Game and SJM Holdings but also reflects the accelerated digital transformation of Macau's gambling industry post-pandemic, with the boundaries between electronic gaming and traditional games increasingly being blurred.
Under the triple pressures of policy adjustments, market competition, and structural reorganization, whether this electronic Sic Bo revolution can spark a new growth wave remains to be seen by the market.
