Swedish Gothenburg game developer Solidicon has officially obtained the Swedish B2B supplier license, allowing it to provide its popular products to domestic licensed gambling operators, including online casino games such as "Navigator" and "Swiminator". The acquisition of this license marks the company's first key regulatory milestone in its global compliance expansion plan, supported by BetComply.
Since 2023, Sweden has mandated that all content providers wishing to supply to local operators must hold a B2B license. The approval for Solidicon means that its game portfolio can legally go live in the Swedish domestic market, further strengthening the company's market layout in Europe.
Solidicon's Chief Operating Officer Richard Rydell stated: "Securing the Swedish B2B license is crucial for our expansion in regulated markets. The professional compliance guidance provided by BetComply made the entire application process more efficient than we anticipated."
It is worth mentioning that Solidicon, headquartered in Gothenburg, has now joined the ranks of official licensed content providers operating under Sweden's new regulatory framework. As the company plans to expand into more international markets, its collaboration with BetComply is expected to deepen further, with the latter continuing to serve as its global compliance advisor.
BetComply's Chief Business Officer Mike de Graaff also noted: "In recent years, several jurisdictions around the world have introduced licensing systems for content providers, and this trend is still strengthening. We are pleased to help Solidicon seize the compliance initiative."
This announcement comes at a time when BetComply's own business is accelerating—this May, the company announced a partnership with Mindway AI to enhance the application of safer gambling tools in operator systems. The cooperation includes providing consultancy services for GameScanner, a tool that can identify high-risk gambling behavior, aiding in earlier intervention.
Although Solidicon has not yet publicly disclosed its next international market expansion targets, the company is actively preparing to apply for compliance licenses in more regions, given its deep cooperation with BetComply.
