High Roller announces a strategic partnership with Playtech to support its entry into the regulated iGaming market in Ontario, providing superior online gambling services.
As one of Canada's most active online gambling markets, Ontario continues to attract a large number of new operators and partners. With Ontario's mature regulatory system and expanding player base, Playtech and SkillOnNet had previously launched the Eyecon game series in the region for the first time.
Under the latest agreement, Playtech will provide advanced technological support for High Roller's platform and brand, ensuring a stable, safe, and high-quality online gambling experience for Ontario players.
Currently, High Roller has submitted an application for an internet gambling operation license to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), and if approved, it is expected to commence operations in the second half of 2025.
Playtech reaffirms its commitment to supporting regulated markets and assisting operators in entering new jurisdictions.
High Roller CEO Ben Clemes stated, "The partnership with Playtech in Ontario marks an important step on our growth path. Playtech's advanced technology will help us deliver a world-class entertainment experience to our players."
Playtech Chief Risk Officer Sergey Harutyunyan added, "We are honored to partner with High Roller and support its development in the Ontario market. Playtech's technology is designed for regulated markets, dedicated to creating a safe, innovative, and engaging gaming environment for operators and players."
It is noteworthy that Playtech has already established partnerships with operators in over 40 regulated jurisdictions worldwide. Previously, the company also partnered with ProgressPlay to launch over 120 bingo game sites in the UK, gaining extensive market experience.
