The globally renowned SiGMA Asia, a major event in the gaming and gambling industry, will return to Manila from June 1 to 4, 2025, marking its third edition in Asia.
This event is touted as potentially the largest gambling expo ever in Asia, expected to attract over 20,000 industry representatives to gather in the Philippine capital for diverse exchanges and high-level discussions.
The conference will cover B2B, B2C, and physical gambling sectors, drawing numerous industry exhibitors. It is anticipated that more than 350 speakers from around the world will attend, delivering keynote speeches, participating in roundtable discussions, and engaging in specialized seminars on industry trends, innovative technologies, and market prospects.
This SiGMA Asia 2025 is officially supported by the Philippine regulatory body—Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). PAGCOR is not only involved in the main event's organization but will also collaborate with SiGMA to host a closed-door practical session specifically designed for 120 physical gambling operators in Asia, enhancing communication and cooperation with traditional gambling businesses.
PAGCOR's Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco stated: "We are honored to be part of promoting such a globally influential industry event. This aligns perfectly with our mission to promote a healthy, orderly, and sustainable development of the gambling industry in the Philippines."
He added: "This exclusive meeting will provide a unique platform for top physical operators worldwide to share knowledge, expand business, and explore new paths for future investment cooperation."
Following the conference, SiGMA Asia will move to Boracay Island from June 5 to 7 to hold a three-day closed-door practical session for 50 member companies. This meeting, with convenient transportation and a beautiful environment, is supported jointly by the Philippine Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) and the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA).
Looking back at last year, SiGMA Asia 2024 was successfully held at the SMX Convention Center in Manila, attracting 17,000 attendees from 154 countries over several days, with as many as 69% being company decision-makers. Post-event surveys showed that over 90% of participants were satisfied with the content and effectiveness of the event and planned to participate again this year.
Industry experts also highly recognize SiGMA Asia. Frank Schuengel, a gambling license consultant from Manavia, commented: "It is certain that SiGMA Asia has made a qualitative leap since last year, and the Asian market is welcoming global opportunities with an unprecedented open attitude."
Pronet Gaming also pointed out that SiGMA Asia is "an ideal platform for building strategic partnerships and promoting industry linkage," which is of significant importance to the development of the Asian gambling industry.
Additionally, last year, the SMX Convention Center was awarded the "Best Convention Center in the Philippines" by the TTG Asia Travel Awards, further solidifying its leading position in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry and providing a quality venue for SiGMA Asia.
