The Home for Women (Lar da Mulher), an initiative supported by the State Government of Rio de Janeiro, celebrates 18 years of providing a safe haven for victims of domestic violence. This program, fully funded by Rio de Janeiro State Lottery (Loterj), has welcomed over 3,446 women and children, representing a strong commitment to dignity and human rights.
Loterj reaffirms its mission as an agent of social transformation, allocating the funds raised to programs that make a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable populations. It is not just a game of chance, but an investment in public policies that truly protect those who need it most.
