The police identified 14 suspects accused of violently coercing others into labor, including 7 Chinese and 7 Burmese nationals. These suspects are charged with forcing others to work through violent means. A Chinese victim, coerced and threatened, was taken to the Mondulkiri provincial police station for questioning to assist in the investigation.
The remaining 243 foreigners (including 239 Chinese, 2 Burmese, 1 Malaysian, and 1 Vietnamese) were transferred to the Cambodian Immigration Department to deal with their illegal residency and deportation issues according to immigration laws.

The police stated that they would conduct thorough investigations into the suspects and pursue legal responsibilities to maintain public order and protect the legal rights of victims.
