Provider Altenar announced the signing of a new agreement to provide its fully managed sports betting solution to Czech operator MerkurXTip, replacing the operator's existing product.
The Merkur casino brand (formerly part of the Gauselmann Group) has been operating since the 1970s and launched its online platform MerkurXTip CZ in 2022. Now, as part of this new deal, Altenar will replace the operator's current sports betting with its own platform solution.
Altenar was originally established in 2011 to provide sports betting solutions and entered the Czech market for the first time in 2024, having established ongoing partnerships with Data.Bet and Kingsbet CZ.
Altenar's Sales Director Sam Hill commented on this latest deal: "The Merkur Group is an outstanding company with a real history in the industry. Worth noting: Altenar obtained a B2B supplier license for the Danish market in January 2025
