Slot machines at the new Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana in Bossier City were rolled onto the gaming floor Thursday.
More than 1,000 new slot machines and electronic table games were installed at the new $270 million casino late Thursday afternoon. Live! is the first land-based casino in Shreveport-Bossier.
“It does have that Vegas feel where you look…you’re going to come in the parking garage, get off the elevator, walk right on the casino floor from our main entry, step right onto the casino floor,” said Joshua Robinson, the vice president of marketing. “So, there is an energy and vibe and an element to that that just brings excitement naturally.”
