A shocking case of employee abuse was exposed in Nong Bua Lamphu Province, Thailand. A boss, Mr. M (pseudonym), suspected of operating a gambling website, was accused of beating and torturing his employee. The victim, Mr. Korn (pseudonym), only 24 years old, managed to escape after two days of inhumane treatment and reported to the police.
From December 6 to 7, 2024, Mr. Korn was brutally beaten by Mr. M in a residence in a village on Chaiyaphruek Road, Nong Bua Lamphu Province.
According to Mr. Korn, during his five months as an administrator of the gambling website, he was only paid 20,000 Thai Baht. However, Mr. M suspected him of having a private relationship with his girlfriend and accused Mr. Korn of "secret dating," which led to brutal mistreatment.
The police investigation found multiple injuries on Mr. Korn's body, including bruises on his head, limbs, and face, clear blunt force trauma marks on his right calf and knee, and severe scalds from hot water poured into his mouth.
Additionally, hot water was splashed on his wounds, his body was covered in bloodstains, and his arms and legs were swollen, making it difficult to move. Most horrifyingly, he was forced to suck on a gun with his mouth to further humiliate and threaten his life.
After enduring two days of violence, Mr. Korn climbed over the wall of the house while Mr. M was asleep and escaped. He then took a taxi to a friend's house for help.
Accompanied by his friend, he arrived at the Chaiyaphruek Police Station in Nong Bua Lamphu Province at 11:30 PM on December 8 to report the incident.
Mr. Korn stated that Mr. M suspected him of contacting his girlfriend via mobile phone, and despite Mr. Korn's attempts to explain and clarify that there were no such records on his phone, Mr. M's anger was not appeased. Mr. M then ordered his subordinates to beat Mr. Korn mercilessly and even refused to provide medical assistance, while also threatening him not to report to the police.
The police have now taken the victim to the hospital for treatment and are gathering evidence to prosecute Mr. M. Sources revealed that Mr. M not only personally carried out the violence against Mr. Korn but also sent photos of the injured victim to his circle of friends and had his subordinates threaten and track Mr. Korn and his friends.
