Recently, an official document revealed that 8,427 foreign nationals associated with POGO have had their visas forcibly cancelled and have been added to the ALO monitoring list. They are required to leave the Philippines by December 31. According to previous announcements by the Bureau of Immigration, if these individuals with a history of POGO employment fail to leave the country on time, they will be blacklisted (i.e., added to the BLO list) and may even face arrest.
Introduction to the ALO List
ALO (Alert List of Aliens) is a list used by the Philippine Bureau of Immigration to record foreign nationals who are considered to pose a threat to national security, public order, or other legal matters. Individuals on this list usually face restrictions on entering the Philippines or are subject to other immigration-related legal actions, and are easily intercepted, questioned, or deported upon entry or exit.
Foreign nationals involved in gambling activities who have not yet downgraded their visas or left the country are very likely to be added to the ALO list.
If related matters are not handled within the specified time, they may further be added to the BLO list (definite blacklist).
The ALO list is not publicly accessible to all immigration officers, only specific computer systems with certain permissions can access the list.
This is a reminder to friends with a POGO record not to be misled by false online propaganda and to stay illegally in the Philippines. As long as you leave the country within the specified deadline, there will be no further trouble.
