It has among its functionalities the visualization of matches as if it were a video game.

United States.- Betano introduced its innovative in-game visualization tool for the National Basketball Association (NBA) matches. Starting this season, Betano customers can watch and interact with live games as if they were playing a video game.

Similar to a video game experience, this feature, supported by computer vision technology and artificial intelligence, converts real-time data into 3D visualizations that are streamed in a personalized manner, allowing fans to choose their viewing angle and enjoy every play, shot, and scored point from their favorite perspective.

Developed in collaboration with Sportradar, this solution reinforces Betano's commitment to offering cutting-edge experiences for fans of all sports.

Fans want to have control over how they view and interact with sports, creating their own personalized experiences."

And he added: "We are excited to introduce a new way to enjoy matches, allowing fans to choose their preferred angles to watch the action. We remain committed to offering innovations that allow our users to interact in new ways with their favorite sports, always in a responsible manner."

Jürgen Stühmeyer will join the supervisory board of Merkur.com AG. Meanwhile, Dieter Kuhlmann will retire.

Press release.- Merkur.com AG continues with the generational change at the top of the group: Dominik Raasch, head of sales and management spokesperson, adp Merkur, Meik Sellenriek, chief financial officer (CFO) and management spokesperson of the arcade segment (Merkur Casino) and David Schnabel, general manager of Merkur Spielbanken, will be appointed members of the board of directors starting January 1, in a move that reassigns responsibilities in the main business segments Sales and Gaming Operations.

Dominik Raasch becomes the new board member responsible for Merkur Sales, and Meik Sellenriek takes over the responsibility for the national and international arcade business of the group. David Schnabel will lead the newly created Casino Division of the Board of Directors.

Michael Gauselmann, chairman of the supervisory board of Merkur.com AG, said: "I am delighted that Dominik Raasch, Meik Sellenriek, and David Schnabel will take on greater responsibility in the future. They all have the Merkur gene and have proven in the past that they are prepared to take the initiative to drive strategic development in their respective divisions."

For his part, Jürgen Stühmeyer, member of the board of directors and vice president of the board of directors and sales of Merkur, will move to the supervisory board of Merkur.com AG and to the board of directors of the Gauselmann Family Foundation. After more than 37 years in the company and a distinguished career that has taken him from apprentice to a position on the Board of Directors, he will maintain close ties with the company in his new position.

"Together with my father, Jürgen Stühmeyer has made a significant contribution to the development of the Merkur group into a successful international company. The success of adp bears his signature. With his move to the Supervisory Board, we will further exploit this potential in the future to ensure long-term growth of the group. I am grateful that Mr. Stühmeyer continues to support me with his experience in this area," said Michael Gauselmann.

He will be succeeded on the board of directors by Dominik Raasch. This 40-year-old business administration graduate began his career at the Merkur Group in 2004 and has since held positions such as Head of Market Research, Head of Brand Management, Board of Directors Consultant, and Director of Global Product Management. Three years ago, he took over the responsibility for Sales and also became the Spokesperson for the Management. In this role, he already has operational responsibility for the commercial segment of Merkur. He is an industry expert with extensive experience and a leadership personality who plays a decisive role in ensuring that adp Merkur GmbH continues to strengthen its reputation as a successful leader in innovation.

The responsibility for gaming operations, until now represented on the board of directors by Dieter Kuhlmann, will be in the hands of Meik Sellenriek and David Schnabel. Meik Sellenriek (56) has been with the Merkur group for 27 years. He started as an SAP consultant, then became a project manager and from 2009 took over the position of Management PA in the arcade segment (Merkur Casino). In 2012, Meik Sellenriek was appointed general manager and chief financial officer. Since 2021, he is also the Spokesperson for the Management with responsibility over the national and international activities in the arcade and gastronomy segments.

With David Schnabel (51) the group's management also counts on a recognized casino specialist. In his role as general manager of Merkur Spielbanken, he has played a crucial role in the emergence of casinos as a pillar of the company's success in recent years. David Schnabel has been working for the Westphalian company for ten years and, in addition to his executive position at Merkur Spielbanken, is also responsible for player protection. He previously worked for more than 20 years at the Westspiel group. To reflect its growing importance, casinos will be represented for the first time by a separate division of the Board of Directors.

As part of the personnel restructuring, Dieter Kuhlmann, who until now had the overall responsibility for the gaming operations segment, will be able to fulfill his wish and retire well deserved. The enormous success in this business segment is inextricably linked to his name. "Mr. Kuhlmann has not only been exceptionally successful, but has also set benchmarks in terms of personnel management and recognition of employee work at the branches. We extend our sincerest thanks for his personal commitment and his outstanding contribution over the years," states Michael Gauselmann. Dieter Kuhlmann joined the company in December 2000 and in 2011 was appointed a member of the board of directors. Since then, he has been responsible for the business segment of gaming operations.
