The SiGMA Europe B2B Awards, sponsored by BetConstruct and hosted by Trudy Kerr and Mark Borg, held a grand ceremony celebrating the outstanding achievements in the global gaming industry.
This celebration was particularly special as it marked the official 10th anniversary of the company. During the anniversary celebration, a special commemorative cake was brought on stage, with CEO Emily Micallef and founder Eman Pulis hosting the cake-cutting ceremony.
An important announcement was made that evening, revealing the new destination and dates for SiGMA's flagship events: SiGMA Central Europe Expo will head to Milan in November, while the SiGMA Europe-Mediterranean Expo (formerly Eastern Europe Expo) has rescheduled its Budapest exhibition to September.
The event took place at the Grandmaster Suite of the Hilton Hotel in Malta, drawing nearly 700 guests, and featured an evening of awards, entertainment, and charity activities. A total of 26 awards were presented to recognize achievements within the industry.
Magicians Steve Carlin and the French magician Mura performed magic for the guests that evening. Carlin's performance integrated the art of magic with the spirit of the casino, including poker chip tricks and amusing live pickpocket stunts, captivating many spectators.
Mura is known for his award-winning magic shows "Décroche" and "Miracle," and this time he brought his unique magic and innovation to the stage. His "Enhanced Magic" merged technology with illusion, transforming the SiGMA logo into a new version celebrating the milestone anniversary, and amazed the guests with interactive magic that made live photos appear on the guests' phones.
The evening concluded with a charity auction hosted by the charismatic Rick Goddard, aimed at supporting the projects of the SiGMA Foundation. SiGMA stated that this event was more than just an industry gathering. It represented "a celebration of community, generosity, and achievement, leaving a memorable mark on the first decade of SiGMA's success."
