Argentina.- With the aim of mobilizing society, raising awareness among young people, adults, public and private sectors, about this phenomenon and fighting it, working together, with the purpose of establishing fairer and more transparent societies, October 29 commemorates National Day for the Prevention of Money Laundering and the Lotería de Córdoba joined the celebration.
In this context, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime celebrates this day, promoting internationally the development and consolidation of an anti-money laundering culture. Likewise, the Financial Action Task Force of Latin America (GAFILAT) and its member countries, such as Argentina, redouble their efforts to continue working on the prevention of this scourge. "The fight against money laundering is a commitment of all," highlighted by the Lotería de Córdoba through a statement.

In the Lottery Hall of Lotería de Córdoba the innovative initiative «Win with your club» was officially launched, which promotes the solidarity support of neighbors to sports institutions. This initiative of the Government of the Province of Córdoba seeks to strengthen and support sports clubs through raffles in which ticket buyers can choose which institution they want to benefit.
The program allows any resident of the province to buy a ticket remotely to help a club from any part of the provincial territory. A brand new car will be raffled as the main prize, in addition to significant prizes in the early draws. Pre-registration for clubs and sports associations interested in participating is now open. It is an innovative and unique program at the national level, developed to accompany the clubs throughout the Mediterranean province.
Through this joint effort, it is expected not only to financially support the clubs but also to promote community participation, the local economy, and strengthen the sense of belonging and healthy living through sport.
