In recent months, SOFTSWISS, one of the largest global technology companies offering software solutions for the iGaming sector, has completed a series of humanitarian and environmental actions aimed at the victims of the floods in Brazil. The company, which has a presence and is expanding its business in the country, carried out emergency initiatives and implemented long-term projects to help people minimize the impact and provide drinking water to those affected by the tragedy.
In partnership with Movimento União BR, SOFTSWISS ensured the delivery of food, drinking water, and essential items to the communities most affected by the floods in Rio Grande do Sul between April and August 2024. The emergency phase of the project resulted in direct assistance to hundreds of families, helping to meet basic needs at a critical time.
"Our dedication to Brazil is ongoing, and this aid was a way to give back to the trust the country has placed in us. We now have employees in the region and, given the recent difficulties, standing by was not an option," said Ivan Montik, founder of SOFTSWISS
Recently, SOFTSWISS appointed the renowned former Brazilian Formula 1 driver, Rubens Barrichello, as Non-Executive Director for Latin America, with the goal of becoming more actively involved in the Brazilian scene. This decision helps not only in business but also extends the charity project into a long-term initiative.
"When we started this charity project, I was convinced that it should not just be a one-time financial aid. The immediate crisis passes and first aid is provided, but people are left to deal with all the ecological and social consequences. I am glad that the company shares my beliefs and is committed to a serious and long-term approach," said Barrichello.
In addition to providing immediate relief, the company invested in actions to help reduce the impact of future climate disasters. As part of its sustainability initiatives, it implemented water purification systems in two schools in Rio Grande do Sul, ensuring constant access to drinking water for over 300 families.
The project also includes educational programs, teaching students and teachers about the importance of preserving natural resources and how to face the challenges posed by climate change.
The installation of the purification systems, carried out in partnership with PW Tech, is already directly benefiting more than 100 students and staff from local schools, with a lasting impact on the affected regions. The success of SOFTSWISS's initiatives goes beyond emergency relief.
The company reinforced its mission to promote sustainability by integrating these preventive actions into its social responsibility strategy. The water purification project, for example, not only meets the immediate needs of the schools but also acts as a defense against future emergencies caused by climate change.
The charity project in Brazil was followed by various other philanthropic efforts around the world, reflecting the commitment of SOFTSWISS as a socially responsible company.
Recently, the company provided aid to those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and the floods in Poland, among other global initiatives. Over the past two years, SOFTSWISS has donated more than 2 million dollars to support charitable causes.
SOFTSWISS is an innovative technology company specializing in solutions for the iGaming industry. With a strong global presence and expertise in various regions, SOFTSWISS stands out for its excellence in software development, integrity, and social commitment.
