Tabcorp and 1/ST Content have reached a long-term agreement with the Turkish Jockey Club (Türkiye Jokey Kulübü, TJK) to broadcast Turkish horse racing events throughout Australia via Tabcorp's Sky Racing platform.
This collaboration allows Australian fans to watch Turkish live events, including the Gazi Derby, through pari-mutuel and fixed odds betting.
Following the agreement, Sky Racing will include Turkish events in its racing lineup, adding another international tour to its schedule beyond the Breeders' Cup, the Epsom Derby, and the Royal Ascot.
This new service makes Tabcorp's betting operator TAB the first to offer visual presentation and betting services for Turkish horse racing.
This cooperation is the result of joint efforts by TJK, 1/ST Content, and B2E Racing Content, who together developed the infrastructure necessary for betting and viewing.
Tabcorp's Chief Operating Officer, Paul Carew, commented on this development, saying: "Thanks to our broader strategic alliances with 1/ST Content, Arena Racing, and Racecourse Media Group, Sky Racing continues to solidify its position as Australia's gateway to premier international horse racing events, and this new agreement eloquently proves that."
