Wanderers Football Club and the Kindred Group have announced the extension of their long-term sponsorship agreement, solidifying their status as the longest-standing partners in the UK football scene. The Kindred Group is a UK-based online gambling and gaming company, primarily offering sports betting, online casinos, and other gaming services. The company owns several well-known brands, including Unibet, Maria Casino, and 32Red.
This partnership, which began in 2014, has now entered its eleventh year, with the parties signing a new front-of-shirt sponsorship agreement. Under the extended agreement, the Unibet brand from Kindred will appear on the Wanderers' first team jerseys, while 32Red will continue to sponsor the training and warm-up gear.
The updated sponsorship agreement also introduces the "Zero% Mission" slogan on the team jerseys, a key element of Kindred's responsible gambling program. This initiative aims to achieve 0% of revenue from harmful gambling, making it the first gambling operator in the UK to have such information on the front of the jersey.
In addition to brand promotion, Kindred will continue to support the Wanderers Charity Foundation's "Team Talk" program, a men's mental health initiative that uses the club's influence to encourage men to discuss their mental health issues.
Furthermore, as part of the partnership, Epic Risk Management will conduct workshops on responsible gambling and financial management for all Wanderers players.
Reflecting on this partnership, Kindred Group's UK General Manager Sam Mead stated:
"Wanderers is a historic club with a passionate and loyal fan base—thus we are thrilled to be partnering with the team once again.
"We recognize the privilege of supporting the club and its community—we take this responsibility very seriously.
"That's why since we began working with Wanderers, the foundation of our partnership has been to showcase the extensive work of the Wanderers Charity Foundation, which is very important—including the men's mental health initiative Team Talk. This excellent work will continue throughout our latest collaboration."
