The police in Kampong Cham province, Cambodia, conducted a raid and successfully dismantled an illegal cyber fraud den known as "New Saigon 3" located in the province. During the operation, 5 Vietnamese suspects were arrested on the spot. A large number of tools used for committing the crimes were seized, including 8 desktop computers, 23 monitors, 6 computer towers, 1 laptop, and 18 mobile phones.
The den has now been forcibly shut down, and all suspects and physical evidence have been detained. The case is currently being further investigated according to the law. The Cambodian police stated that they will continue to crack down on cross-border telecommunications fraud crimes to firmly maintain social order and the safety of citizens' property.
