A Chinese man was arrested in Cambodia after an accident occurred while transporting a corpse.

In Oddar Meanchey Province, Cambodia, a Chinese national man was caught on the spot by local residents for his alleged involvement in a major criminal case and handed over to the police. The incident occurred on August 11, 2025, at 4:30 PM, at O'Hen Ban Village, Osmach Commune, Samraong City.

According to local residents, they saw a car stuck in a ditch and approached to help push it, only to unexpectedly discover a corpse inside the vehicle. It is initially suspected to be a murder case, where the suspect attempted to transport the body to a remote area to dispose of the evidence, but the vehicle got stuck along the way.

Upon noticing the anomaly, the crowd quickly called the police and subdued the man, handing him over to the law enforcement officers who arrived at the scene. Reports suggest that the suspect is believed to be connected to multiple homicide cases, with a modus operandi highly similar to that of other cases previously exposed.

Eyewitnesses mentioned that shortly after the incident, another car carrying five people quickly left the scene, with their whereabouts currently unknown, and the police have since launched an investigation.
