The "Youhua Park" in Daqili, Myanmar, recently exposed a severe human rights disaster through internal whistleblowing: more than 200 Chinese nationals are illegally detained in the park, forced to participate in overseas cryptocurrency scams, pornographic live streaming, and "pig butchering" scams, described as a "modern hell factory."
The scam park is hidden near the Youhua large fish pond in Daqili, operating entirely in secrecy, with windows covered in black plastic and corrugated iron walls blocking out light. The first floor is a canteen, the second floor houses the management dormitories, the third floor is for general staff dormitories, and the fourth floor has 4 offices dedicated to carrying out different types of scam tasks. Office 1 has the most people, where employees work over 15 hours a day and suffer physical punishments such as being forced to do planks and running. Those who fail to complete tasks are also beaten or forced to falsify accounts.
The park's head, "Old Jiang," manipulates financial accounts through his position, while violent members like "Chen Hao" and "Old Hei" play the role of "lackey supervisors." All supermarkets and canteens in the park are monopolized by the "Shangpin" team, making huge profits. Whenever there are rumors of investigations from the outside world, the management urgently relocates to KTVs or affiliated houses in the park, resuming operations once the storm has passed.
It is said that the park is located in a Wa State stronghold and enjoys "umbrella" treatment, making it almost impossible for outsiders to enter. Internal staff question: With such a large scale, how can they survive without scamming?
This "enslavement-style scam factory" reveals the deep crisis of transnational telecommunications fraud in Southeast Asia. Facing such systematic and sustained human rights and crime issues, merely targeting a few "small fry" is far from enough.
Myanmar's "Hell Park" exposed! Over 200 Chinese detained and forced into scam livestreaming.
